ELTON JOHN JACKET DESIGN.

Process: 

• Draw and cut out pattern. Securing corners with masking tape. 

•Trace with chalk to leave faint outline to follow. 

•Remove stencil. 

•Apply a small section of E6000 glue to the jacket inside the outline. Using a thin layer of glue. 

•Use a wax tip pencil to pick up the sparkles and gently press them into glue. 

 

Building up small sections at a time with a variety of size sparkles allowed me to add patterns and emphasis on certain section. 

The end result. This was definitely a time consuming process but it was a great was to personalise and up-cycle an old jacket.
